Economics in bitesize chunks

We should all enhance our knowledge about the economy, no matter how old you are, there isn’t an age limit. There are a plethora of economic topics that impact our daily lives and our future. The topics that we are going to cover are the topics that I think are missing in the British curriculum, such as money management, taxes, savings, the operation of banks. These lessons will also benefit Economics and Business Studies students, as very often students only understand the economic theory and not how it relates to our reality, there will also be quite  a lot of teaching on what is not on the Economics syllabus. 

The economics lessons will be group lessons, students will be grouped in key stages, from key stage 2 to key stage 5.  The lessons are 6 week short courses, once a term. I will email parents the topics prior to being taught and you can sign up for each individual short course once the topic has been released. The cost of each short course will be £50 and must be paid as a lump sum.  The students will do weekly mini online quizzes and then one longer quiz at the end of the course.
