One of our main objectives to give the students the confidence to believe in their ability, to enhance their greatness. We aim to encourage one another, students encouraging other students, tutors encouraging students. These core values are embedded within our lessons and teaching style.
The seed of We Teach began when I was an Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics A level teacher in an outstanding grammar school. I was approached by students who were finding Economics difficult and needed additional support. The growth of We Teach began once I accumulated a fair amount of students, who were having face-to-face lessons. My resignation from teaching enabled me to tutor full-time. I then launched Saturday lessons in Dulwich, which required me to recruit members of staff who taught various academic subjects. Due to COVID 19, all face-to-face lessons transitioned to an online learning environment. We Teach began to flourish, as there was increased demand in various parts of the world, such as Dubai, Australia, South Africa and Ghana. I then decided to relocate to Dubai, as there was an increased demand in the UAE and to be at the forefront of an emerging market. At present, We Teach is a worldwide tuition company, offering face-to-face lessons in London and Dubai and online lessons worldwide.

We empower our students, by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to reach their full potential and take the stress and worry out of sitting examinations. We encourage our young people to get excited about the doors education can open, whether that’s getting into a particular school, mapping the path for a future vocation or just exploring a fascinating new topic. Our approach is centered around relationship-based learning, building a rapport between student and tutor. We often find that throughout this process our students develop a real passion for subjects, which they previously didn’t necessarily enjoy.

I specialise in teaching KS1 and KS2 Maths and KS1 to KS5 English. Having been through the education system to post-graduate level, I understand the importance of motivating children to aim high and to be consistent in their studies, from an early age. I am passionate about supporting children and young people in developing their confidence, in order to reach their full potential; tuition outside of mainstream school helps to develop numerous skills from which children will benefit not only academically, but in their personal and future professional lives. Each child is unique and I aim to adapt my teaching style based on the individual needs of the child. I seek to maintain a structured yet fun environment, where children feel free to participate and be inquisitive.
I attended and obtained 11 GCSEs at Abbs Cross School and Arts College. This was an environment that perfectly married creative arts with traditional education. I went on to Havering Sixth Form College in 2008, where I excelled in AS level and then took a year’s secondment relocating to Virginia, USA to attend Liberty University; whilst there I studied Pre-Law and International Relations, before then heading back to complete my A levels in Sociology, Modern World History and English Literature. After which I then attended the University of Hull to study Law. Whilst at University I rediscovered my love of words and am now a writer and Freelance Journalist. Having been published in a number of publications I can wholeheartedly say that I owe this to being nurtured in an environment that taught me to articulately express myself. As such I understand the importance of education as a solid foundation.
