✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Yes, we do. Your first lesson with We Teach Academy will be a free assessment, this is an opportunity for us to assess the students current academic ability and for the parent and student to experience our teaching approach.

  • The first lesson is a trial assessment, this will consist of the student completing questions on various topics, in the form of exam style questions. After this assessment, the tutor will write an academic report outlining any gaps in the students’ knowledge, short term and long-term objectives. These objectives will assist the tutor to prepare a flexible learning plan in line with the desired outcome.

  • The assessment will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

  • The assessment is 20 to 30 minutes per subject.

  • Our lessons and homework are tailored to the individual's academic ability, needs and objectives. Although we create a study plan, we are flexible and therefore happy to make changes to the learning plan. 85% of our A level students go onto the Russell Group Universities.

  • Not only do we teach subject knowledge, we also teach exam technique. We teach where and how to gain the maximum amount of marks in each style of question.

  • Every 6 to 8 weeks, we will update the students’ progress report. This is an opportunity for the tutor, student and parent to see what progress has been made and where the student can improve.

  • At We Teach Academy we recognise that students thrive in different environments, therefore we offer online and face to face lessons, group and individual lessons. We will advise you which lesson type is appropriate for your child.

  • Each student has varying needs, your tutor will make a recommendation depending on the student's ability and objective.
